Yes — joining SharedOut is completely free. We charge a 10–15% platform commission only when a booking is completed. There are no monthly fees, no listing fees, and no subscription charges.

How do I know I can trust the providers?

Every provider on SharedOut is verified with Singpass before they can list. This means their identity is confirmed against government records — the same system used for government digital services.

What if the item I borrowed is damaged?

Our structured dispute resolution system handles this. Handover photos are taken at both collection and return. Security deposits are held via Stripe and can be used to cover genuine damage.
